Jinhua Municipal Central Hospital, established in 1910, is a tertiary general hospital in central and western Zhejiang that integrates medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, infection prevention, healthcare and rehabilitation. Jinhua Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in July 1958. Over six decades of growth, it has developed into a tertiary TCM hospital that integrates medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, infection prevention, healthcare and rehabilitation. It serves as the National Physician Assistant Standardized Training Base (first batch), the Provincial Physician Assistant Standardized Training Base (first batch), Traditional Chinese Medicine General Practitioner Standardized Training Base, National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Promotion Base on TCM Health Technologies for Common Diseases and Illnesses, Zhejiang Provincial “Famous Hospital” Development Organization, and Zhejiang Provincial Health Promotion Hospital. The hospital covers an area of 4 hectares, with a construction area of 6.75 hectares, an establishment of 978 available beds (an increase from 600-bed capacity), and 25 inpatient wards. The hospital has 1,257 employees, including 1,104 health technicians (200 with senior titles and 416 with mid-level titles). Zhejiang Normal University Affiliated Hospital – Puyang People’s Hospital
Puyang People’s Hospital, one of the top 100 hospitals in China, was founded in 1949. It is a public tertiary general hospital that integrates medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, infection prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation. It serves as the National Physician Assistant Standardized Training Base, National Medical Licensing Examination (Clinical Skills) Base, Henan Provincial General Practitioner Standardized Training Base, and Henan Provincial Postdoc Innovation and Practice Base. It has been awarded as the “Most Popular Hospital in Henan Province” for 9 consecutive years. Hangzhou Plastic Surgery Hospital
Hangzhou Plastic Surgery Hospital, originally founded as Hangzhou Eighth People’s Hospital in 1985, was restructured in 2005 through a joint effort by CITIC Group and the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and is now wholly owned by CITIC Group. It is the only comprehensive plastic surgery hospital in Zhejiang Province integrating medical treatment, teaching, and research, focusing primarily on plastic repair, reconstruction, and hand surgery. The plastic surgery department is recognized as a specialty department of Zhejiang Province, while the hand surgery department is a key specialty of Hangzhou. The hospital has established research institutions, including the Hangzhou Repair and Reconstruction Surgery Research Institute, Hangzhou Cleft Lip and Palate Treatment Center, and the National Tissue Engineering Center Zhejiang Branch, with a commitment to the research and application of key technologies in tissue engineering.
